Borama (ssctimes.com) The Somaliland Clan Militia leader Criminal Siilaanyo made an unexpected desperate move to plead to the people of Awdalland in Borama, due to the increasing tensions both on the internet and on the ground in Salal and Awdal against the Somaliland Clan Militia.
Awdalland civilians are upset with Criminal Siilaanyo for many reasons, firstly he is accused of being behind (masterminding) the killings of many young Awdalland man prior to the elections of the Isaaq clan. Secondly prior to his clan’s voting, he made clear statements that he has no interest in Awdalland, thirdly, his carefully hand picked clan affiliated government of the Somaliland (better known as the One Clan Project) only has two representatives from Awdalland, while the rest of the representatives in the Clan government are from other regions whom majority of the civilians reject any acknowledgement of the one clan project.
The most recent accusation pointing to Criminal Siilaanyo is the spread false accusations which labelled the Awdal civilians as a ‘threat to Ethiopia’ and a ‘terror land’ to the region of Awdalland, a move which is seen by many Awdalland patriots as an effort to destabilise the peace and prosperity of the region, in order to create further setback to non-Isaaq dominated regions.
Days ago Criminal Siilaanyo dismissed the leader responsible for Awdalland and named into his post someone accused of having links with past attacks of the Awdalland civilians, the following video shows Awdalland elders objecting to the dismissal and naming of the accused:
Yesterday Gaboose who is in the Criminal Siilaanyo’s Internal Affairs Seat, was sent to Borama as the messenger of Criminal Siilaanyo in order to plead with Awdalland elders. The timing of Gaboose’s visit was tactfully designed to prevent the demonstration that was being organised by Borama civilians to tell the world that they want their ‘land’ Awdalland to be an independent state of Somalia.
Gaboose begged for forgiveness and dialogue from Awdalland elders, asking also for their promise to stop the people they represent from demonstrating, he described the importance of Awdalland to the one clan project (Somaliland) and that everything must be done to keep the two ‘Lands’ (Awdalland and Somaliland) together.
Gabose came to Borama when the local times was 6am in the morning, due to fears from the Awdalland civilians he was accompanied by large number of tribal troops and transport which were lined on the big streets of the town to prevent demonstration.
To keep Awdalland under the umbrella of the One Clan Project (Somaliland) is very beneficial to the Isaaq clan, as all funds and development as well as the management of resources are directed and always controlled in Isaaq dominated towns such as Hargeisa. Furthermore, by advocating to the world the needs of Awdalland the Isaaq clan are always in the lead of other non-Isaaq clans in Awdalland.

Listen to this speech beging Awdalland Elders not to be like the people of Sool (i.e. the SSC):
Therefore, the One Clan Project (Somaliland) has always and will always only benefit ‘One Clan’ known as the Isaaq (Siilaanyo’s Clan). Thus whether people of Awdalland continue their objection against the one clan project or agree to receive funds to keep their civilians calm, in the end reality will be seen and sooner or later Awdalland will rise as another State of Somalia.
The following recording relates to the large meeting over the weekend held in America to show support for the Awdalland State of Somalia:
