Awdal State of Somalia on International TV (Daawo)

London (ssctimes.com) Awdal State of Somalia is shown on the Somali international Television Universal TV after celebrations to support the declaration of Awdal State took place in many countries and cities around the world including: USA (Ohio, Minnesota, California), Canada (Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver), Sweden, Norway, Finland, Holland, Germany and most recently London. The flag of Awdal has become the talk of the Somali nation and the international observers are aware of the growing revolution taking place in Northern Somalia, the declaration of Awdal State is not a suprise to observers as it has always been a question of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’.

Awdal State civilians reject the notion of a divided Somalia and the tribal cleansing agenda of criminal Siilaanyo and the one clan notion (isaaqland / Somaliland clan) currently operating in Northern Somalia.

Awdal State patriots call on the international community including the United Nations, Britain, United States and all Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs) to be aware of the plight of the Awdal State region which has now been declared by its civilian as an autonomous state from the Somaliland Clan Militia leadership headed by criminal Siilaanyo. Awdal State has declared its independence and unity with Somalia and rejects the Somaliland Clan Militia, this declaration was announced in March 2011 in Edmonton (Canada) by Awdal State respected intellectuals working closely with Awdal State civilians and respected elders on the ground in the Awdal State regions.

As evidenced by the beauty of the Awdal State flag, the announcement of this state has not come about lightly nor has it been easy for the brave Awdal Patriots who have chosen to take this step for the benefit of all the civilians in Awdal State. The flag of Awdal State dates back to the Adal Empire centuries ago and the need for an autonomous Awdal State of Somalia is the work of years long discussions by the Awdalland patriots around the world and in Awdalland gathering in numerous cities and occasions to discuss how to save the lives of their people from the SNM militia headed by Criminal Siilaanyo and how to improve their region for the benefit of Awdal State civilians.

Since the decleration of Awdal State, large celeberatory events took place around the world speaking of the intentions and purpose behind the declaration of Awdal State, some of these events were recently aired on the International Somali Television Universal, which showed captions of the celebrations in Sweden, Norway and London. These celebrations were very emotional as Awdal State patriots have waited for this event for over twenty years, those attending the events spoke of how ‘Awdal State’ is what Somalia needs, for the sake of peace and united nation Somalia needs Awdal state just as much as Awdal state needs the support of all the Somali people in all regions of Somalia.

The attendees of the Awdal State events included many Somali states including The Jubbaland, Galmudug State, Puntland and the SSC as well as many other states which have shown their welcome and support to Awdal State.
