Bereaving SSC Families Receive Support
12 Families in Buhodle that suffered the greatest lost in the recent attacks by the Somaliland Clan Militia in Buhodle have received money to help them cope with their bereavement. This money according to our reporter was sent by SSC London and the HARO (Horn of Africa Relief Organisation). The money was distributed fairly and was well received by the families in Buhodle. However, there are many families that have either lost their loved through the killings of the Somaliland Clan Militia or have loved ones in prison that have not committed any crime. The Somali Government – The Rights of Somali Children and SSC children
The New York Times news paper today published an article accusing the Somali government of ignoring Child rights and using Children as an army against radicals. However, it has forgot to mention that the Children of SSC especially in the areas close to the SSC town of Laascaanood suffer from the brutal treatment of the Somaliland Clan Militia, who abuses them mentally, physically and verbally, preventing them from normal child life. The Children are often not allowed to play with friends as that is seen as demonstration like gathering, or planning against the Militia.
