The Somali News Universal showed SSC people that have fled from Sool and Cayn receiving support from UNICEF, after the recent attacks by the Somaliland Clan Militia. The Somali TV Universal confirmed that their Laascaanood reporter Maxamed Shaqale has been imprisoned by the Somaliland Clan Militia police based in Laascaanood, but they did not say what happened to Maxamed Shaqale after he was taken to prison. Mahmed Shaqale who is a well known Somali reporter in the SSC region of Laascaanood was ordered to be imprisoned today by the Leader of the Somaliland Clan Faysal Ali Waraabe, who is also one of the current contesting Somaliland Clan Leaders in Northern Somalia. The reporter is accused of the report that was aired last night on the Universal Television which showed the demonstrations that took place in Laascaanood following the visit by the clan leader Faysal Ali Warabe.
